Guide
Google indexability check
Before talking about rankings, confirm that Google can crawl the right pages, read them cleanly and see consistent signals.
- Important pages should return stable public HTML with no accidental blocking.
- Titles, canonicals, meta robots and internal linking should agree with the intended indexing strategy.
- Sitemaps should point to real canonical URLs, not stale or duplicate variants.
- The homepage should explain the business clearly enough that search engines can classify it.
What the audit flags
Missing or conflicting indexability signals, weak descriptive content, crawl friction and the kinds of gaps that make a site harder to understand than it should be.
